The IIM Kozhikode Calicut Half Marathon 2026, presented by India’s VKC, was successfully conducted today, marking yet another memorable chapter in Calicut’s growing running culture.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation across all three race categories — 21 km, 10 km, and 3 km — bringing together runners from diverse backgrounds to celebrate fitness, endurance, and community spirit.
We were honoured to have Olympian Jinson Johnson as the Chief Guest for the event. The award ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries and representatives from IIM Kozhikode, India’s VKC, KVR Hyundai, along with other valued sponsors and partners, who joined us in celebrating the achievements of the runners.

With over 3,500 participants and the dedicated support of 250+ volunteers, the marathon was a true collective effort. From smooth race operations to energetic crowd support, every aspect of the event reflected meticulous planning and teamwork.
